Trust Falls, 2011, 9:41 (loop), silent
In the video Trust Falls, the subject stares outward, becoming another viewer. This viewer leans back, falling into a cinematic void and trusting that outside, there is another viewer waiting to catch their image.
I included the video Trust Falls in a solo show at Interstate also called Trust Falls. Along with Trust Falls the video, I screened Remote. Below are some documentary images from the show. Each video was installed in adjoining spaces. Remote has a stereo soundtrack that affected the read of Trust Falls. Click image to see larger version.
