Vessel
Work-in-progress, Super 16mm transferred to digital

Vessel (in production; anticipated completion 2026–2027), the second film in a planned personal trilogy, emerged from the need to process an uneasy Q&A exchange between two filmmakers at a festival, centered on questions of originality. Working through autofictive strategies, the film interrogates authorship and originality, reframing the feminist use of found footage as an act of resilience and reimagination. Its conceptual foundation draws on Ursula K. Le Guin's model of narrative from "The Carrier Bag Theory of Fiction," treating story not as a weapon of linear conquest but as a vessel for gathered, heterogeneous life.
